How to Add Watermarks to Images Online?

  1. Upload the images you want to protect, then pick a watermark type: "Text Watermark" for your name, nickname or website address, or "Image Watermark" for a Logo file.
  2. For text watermarks, choose the font family, size and color, plus opacity and rotation angle; for image watermarks, adjust the scale and opacity.
  3. Pick a landing spot from the nine-position grid (e.g. bottom-right) and fine-tune the margins for exact edge spacing; check "Tile" to repeat the watermark across the entire picture.
  4. Hit "Add Watermark" — in batch mode the current settings apply to all uploaded images. Afterwards download one by one or as a single ZIP package.

Frequently Asked Questions

Should I use a text or an image watermark?

For signatures, capture dates or copyright notices, a text watermark is quickest. If you already have a designed Logo or signature graphic, use the image watermark for stronger branding. Both let you tune opacity so the mark never overwhelms the photo.

What is tiled watermarking and why use it?

Tile mode repeats the watermark at fixed intervals until it fills the whole frame. Even if someone crops out a corner, the mark survives — far more theft-resistant than a single watermark.

What opacity should I set for my watermark?

Around 30%–50% works well in most cases: clearly visible ownership without spoiling the picture itself. Tiled watermarks meant as a hard deterrent can go higher.

Do all images share the same settings in batch mode?

Yes — "Add Watermark" applies your current text, styling, position and every other setting to all uploaded images, branding an entire collection in one operation.

Does adding a watermark degrade quality?

No. The watermark is drawn on top of the original pixels; untouched areas stay exactly as they were, and overall quality is unaffected.

Are my images uploaded anywhere?

Never. The watermark is composited locally in your browser, so originals never leave your device — your work gains protection without any exposure risk.
