How to Resize Images Online?

  1. Upload the images whose size you want to change — multiple files can be added at once for batch processing.
  2. Pick a scaling mode: "Percentage" scales proportionally (e.g. shrink to 50%); "Pixels" takes an exact width and height; "Preset Size" offers common specs such as 1920×1080 and 1280×720.
  3. "Keep Aspect Ratio" is enabled by default, so changing the width recalculates the height automatically and your image never gets stretched. Uncheck it to set width and height freely.
  4. Hit "Start Resizing", then download results one by one or grab them all as a single ZIP archive.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does shrinking an image hurt its quality?

Downscaling generally causes no visible loss — the picture stays crisp. Enlarging a small image, however, will look blurry because pixels have to be invented. Stick to proportional downscaling or mild enlargement.

How do I make passport-photo or avatar sizes?

Choose "Custom" under Preset Size and type the exact dimensions. For a square avatar, crop at 1:1 with the Crop tool first, then set the exact pixel size here.

Can I change only the width and let height follow?

Yes. Keep "Keep Aspect Ratio" checked: enter the new width and the height is computed automatically from the original ratio, so nothing gets distorted.

Can I choose the output format?

You can keep the original format or export as JPEG, PNG or WebP. With JPEG, the quality slider gives you further control over file size.

Do all images get the same size in batch mode?

Yes — "Resize All" applies your current target size to every uploaded image, perfect for unifying product photos for e-commerce or websites.

Are my images uploaded anywhere?

No. All resizing runs locally in your browser, and your files never leave your device.
